Moving chaos

We are moving.

We are moving from a house we have lived in for 12 years.

So much stuff and so many memories we have to leave behind. As I sit and go thru each closet and room, I am sorting everything into a trash, donate or pack pile. It is overwhelming...my thoughts go like this, "It feels so good to get rid of this stuff.", "I have too much stuff.", "I don't want to pack this stuff.", to "Can I just get rid of it all and live with just the necessities?

Moving is a good reset for my stuff, but I asked myself this week, do you have a good reset for your brain? Do you give yourself time to look at your brain and identify some beliefs that you have? Maybe they are inspiring beliefs that you want to keep, however most of the time they are limiting beliefs that leave us stuck, cluttered, keeping us from making the massive progress we want to make.

Take some time to do a thought download...get a paper, set a timer and write all the thoughts you are having right now. Do not sensor them or judge them, just write.

When the timer is up, look at the thoughts and read them outloud. See what feelings come up for you. Question the thought if it creates a feeling you don't like. Remember our thoughts are just thoughts, we don't have to believe them!
